Cheque Mate is a hip hop group from Durban. The four members (Daddy Flexy, Verb, MXL & Exclusiv Buck) of the group are all not new to hip hop industry as they are as the group. They have strong background of the hip hop culture as 3 of the member are from 1 of South Africa's best dance groups, Warrior Knights.
Their music is light to the ears and accomodates all ages but more likely to make an impact in the South African youth.
