The Cheque Mate Media number one artist has been in the studio recording new music which he promised to release this summer. Daddy Flexy has been sharing on his social media platforms that he and King-Mono will be releasing a joint album titled BAD UNCLE, WORSE NEPHEW and also his own solo album GCWALA Mixtape with the new ROSES FREESTYLE (produced by BANKZ JUNIOR) as the promo and a request for him to get his flowers for his contribution to the game.

Cheque Mate is a hip hop group from Durban. The four members (Daddy Flexy, Verb, MXL & Exclusiv Buck) of the group are all not new to hip hop industry as they are as the group. They have strong background of the hip hop culture as 3 of the member are from 1 of South Africa's best dance groups, Warrior Knights.

Their music is light to the ears and accomodates all ages but more likely to make an impact in the South African youth.

Nominate Daddy Flexy For The INK Arts Festival Awards

Hi guys, your boy Daddy Flexy need you to help him score a nomination at the INK Arts Festival Awards 2016 for the "Award Of Excellence For Arts & Culture Development In The Community" award.

You may be asking "but why for that category?", well Daddy Flexy is not only a rapper, dancer and music producer but also the man that started and groomed the hip hop dance in Lindelani.

He grew up as a big Micheal Jackson fan and his love for hip hop started in the early year 2000 when he moved to Mariannridge, a coloured dominated neighbourhood with a lot of hip hop influence. He started dancing on his own without any proffessional assistence and managed to be one of the greatest dancers in Durban. 3 years later he moved back to Ntuzuma township (Lindelani) and started hip hop dance movement where he recruited old friends and started a rap and dance crew called White Knights (now known as Warrior Knights Dance Crew).

To date he has taught, groomed and shaped a number dancers from Lindelani, Inanda and Pinetown who are now international performers and is still grooming more talent along-side his fellow Warrior Knights dance members at Mandlakazulu School and looking to take them far with hip hop dance and the lifestyle as a whole. He grew up as a big Micheal Jackson fan and his love for hip hop started in the early year 2000 when he moved to Mariannridge, a coloured dominated neighbourhood with a lot of hip hop influence.
